We both have permanent residency and we are married and legally separated. So, I got pregnant by my boyfriend during my firts year of my residency, we are not separated 1 year yet, and i am about to give birth soon (january), my boyfriend doesnt know i am married. what can i do? what will happen? when can i start the papers for the divorce with my husband? what will happen with my husband and me about our PR?
help please, any advice besides saying to go to a lawyer?

Assuming that you and your husband got PR at the same time and neither one of you sponsored the other, nothing would happen with your PR.

If he was a PR first and sponsored you, depending on how long the relationship had been going on and whether you had children with him, you might have a condition on your PR to cohabit with him for 2 years and your PR would then be at risk if you did not do that.

You can file for divorce in Canada after you have lived in Canada for at least 1 year. Having a baby with another man may not help with the divorce proceedings, see http://www.torontodivorcelaw.com/pregnant-man-divorce/

It could also throw you a loop concerning paternity because in most countries, a husband is automatically considered the father of a baby born within the marriage. There may be some legal procedure to go through concerning that. Sorry but I think you will have to tell your boyfriend that you are married. Delaying it will not make it easier.
