I was reading the passport guide where it says fill out a form PPTC 077 if you don't wanna mention your place of birth on the passport...

My questions is

What are the Advantages & Disadvantages of Place of Birth on Passport?

I think it is important to have place of birth mentioned on your passport to avoid difficulties when traveling to other countries.

By the way: your citizenship application processing time was very fast ! Congratulations!

The main disadvantage is that some countries apparently will not allow you to enter unless the passport gives place of birth. In some countries (e.g. the U.K.), only the city of birth is given, so that must be considered acceptable. If a British passport has "London", it could be London, England; London, Ontario; or London, Kentucky! A Canadian passport gives city AND country.
