okay, slightly complicated issue, but here goes.
My mother is a UK citizen.
When she was young, her parents(UK citizens) died.
She was then adopted by her sister and her (then) husband who is a Canadian citizen.
She immigrated with them to Canada for 15 years. She has a 'landing card'?! and i think she is still in possession of this.
Does this legally make my mothers adopted father, my grandfather?
Would this work in terms of family class sponsorship?
Would my mothers landing card and temporary citizenship hold any bearing on anything?
i also have family there, aunts, uncles, cousins ect, if this makes any difference?
thanks
