My personnel thinking is that address disappearance has no significance, my address is missing too and was missing in Dec 11 too but yet nothing.

In my case it always worked and i knew that something is going on with my application when ever my address disappeared its not necessary that CHC would contact you after every address disappearence, they might be updating your case or may be its just that they recieved further information from your employers or banks etc .. but its good to know that your file is active and not dumped isnt it..

don't mind but Singapore VO is one of the slowest primarily because it handles many other countries.

I think address disappearance has no meaningful relevance.
I am waiting for MR, My address disappeared in Dec 11 and is now missing since 27 Jan 12. On the first disappearance in Dec 11 nothing happened and just yesterday (31 Jan 12) I received a reply from London VO that my background checks are in process and they cannot tell when they will be completed, therefore even this latest disappearance of address (Jan 27) means nothing.

Not colorect. If address has Dissappeared there is something happening with your file however it may not lead to change in your state.

I do not think so, because if you read carefully my earlier post then I wrote there that "just yesterday (31 Jan 12) I received a reply from London VO that my background checks are in process and they cannot tell when they will be completed, therefore even this latest disappearance of address (Jan 27) means nothing."

they might be getting updates about you from your employer(s) and banks etc

As i mentioned earlier that its not neccessary that they contact you on each address disappearence they might get updates on your case by external sources whom they contact to verify your documents
