Background checks for all of us pre 2008 is before medicals. Therefore, my background checks started somewhere in 2010 month 10 and ended when I received medicals in month 3 2011.
Don't worry man, I am following your case ad ur timeline u r on the right track all u need is patience. U will certainly get it finally.

Dear my update was also on Oct2010and I was under background checks also in Oct2010 coz I got an email from them last year¡ Why it takes with all people 6 months and with me two years

I have finished Medical on 11th June and medical received status appeared on 28 Aug.

For me it took 6 months

Since ur address has gone and from our experience this means the visa office were working on ur file. Maybe there are some updates to be requested or in process of requesting the MR
