Address change after CoPR received

Hi,

I applied for my wife's Spousal Sponsorship for which she received a Passport request. She sent the passport to the embassy and it was stamped with Immigrant Visa and she got the CoPR also. She is going to land in June.

I recently changed my address here in Canada (On April 1 2017). Do I need to inform CIC for the change in address as I have had the old address on her sponsorship file.

Kindly suggest.

I am sure that one has to update the address when the file is in process. I am not sure about when the file gets processed. Is there any communication CIC needs to do once the CoPR is issued?

i think they send the PR card to the address you provide to them when you land. I provided them the address when I landed and that's where they sent me the card. I hope the same will be true for her. Please let me know.

There is no need to update the sponsor address at this point, as nothing will be sent.

The applicant will provide an address for the PR card when landing.
