Additional WES ECA needed?

Hi,

I created my Express Entry profile with a WES evaluation of only masters degree in the US. This was because I did not have transcripts for my BE degree from India and I read on this forum that getting my MS degree evaluated is enough. I visited India last month and got my BE transcripts. These transcripts were issued in 2012 but signed and sealed in the way WES demands it (I had got them made for my MS applications)

Now I am waiting for my FBI PCC to arrive which should probably take another month. My submission deadline is March 3rd. In this time should I get my BE degree evaluated even though it will give me no extra points? My current WES ECA already has 'Canadian Equivalency: Master's Degree' and the updated one will be no different. Will WES accept documents made in 2012 but are still sealed?

Absolutely not. It is pointless since your Master's degree has already been assessed as a Canadian Master's degree and you received CRS points for it. So, just save your money and time. You don't need it. Good Luck!

Thank you for the reply. I'll save money yes but I won't be saving any time since I am waiting on my FBI PCC anyway. I believe that will take another month so I wanted to make sure I have everything else completely in order so I am good to go as soon as I get my FBI PCC. Don't want to leave any stone unturned.

So a related question to this. Assuming I don't get my bachelors evaluated, should I still upload the BE certificate and transcripts in the eAPR?

Again, there is no point in assessing your BE degree. It is not required in your case and will not add any benefits. What you need to do is to add only your Master's degree in the Education section. For your BE degree, don't add to the Education section and only list it in the Personal History section. This way, you will not need to upload any documents related to your BE degree. Good Luck!
