Hi there, I am just looking for anyone to answer me regarding the additional application for permanent resident. My application was already at Ottawa and it is in process for permanent resident. They already asked for my landing fee. Then after paying the landing fee, now theyre asking for additional documents in order to process my PR. Those docs are letter of employment stating annual salary, bank statement for 6 months, paystub for 6 months and T4 or Notice of assessment. Is there anyone here already experienced this kind of thing? Well, I am just a confused why to the last stage theyre askin for this docs.

They asked me for the same documents except no bank accounts. Nobody really knows why they ask for those documents towards the end. I thought it was because I filed for WCB(social benefits - free money) and they wanted to see something like if I went back to my job. However, other people that haven't used any social programs like WCB or EI have shown these documents too. Other people say it's a proof to show that you are still employed by your employer but nobody knows for sure why they ask for these documents.bettyboo02 said:

Don't worry this is normal... They asked us same documents just to verify that we are still working and comply with pnp rules under which we applied pr.. This is last stage. Don't worry.. You will get pr soon now.
I got this request additional documents in Nov and got ppr in January.
But my second round waiting is started as I m waiting for visa office change to stamp my spouse visa in New Delhi instead Canada as she can't send her passport to canada legally through courier. I have already send my passport for visa stamping as 30days limit was nearly over. But still waiting for visa office change email for my spouse to submit her passport in New Delhi.
