Hello,

In Express Entry, how do we get to know if CIC needs addition medical tests?

My medical's status is review in progress since 3 months. I am worried.

my BG status is in progress as well since 23 december 2015.

They will let you know through MyCIC notifications. If they need more info, Review of medical results will update to "We need medical information:"

Don't worry. Mine passed after 99 days since AOR. Be patient

Thats true, I came across a person she was telling me that she is an express entry candidate from india, and she got his medical done from MAX Institute. Her medical status is also in progress since her aor in november. yesterday she called MAX institute where they told her that 1 month before CIC request for addition test for TB and she was never informed through EE/CIC or MAX?

In Pakistan we get our medical done from IOM, will IOM receive information about further medical tests? Are we definite about this that CIC informs us through EE?

I also got additional medical request but not thru CIC or any email by regular mail/post in my post box. I think sometimes the mails get lost so you have to keep in touch with the institute you did your medicals. Once I re-did my medicals, the status changed to passed in couple of days.

I did medicals in IOM in Nepal and about a month later my husband received a furtherance letter from CIC through email. We then had to inform IOM about it as they did not receive any information from CIC. Just keep an eye out for your emails, but if you were not told that there was problem while you were in the clinic, it's highly likely everything is OK. You can always ask IOM to check on your case for you.

When there was a finding in the x-ray, the clinic called after 2 days to instruct for the additional tests.

I guess it depends on the case and whether it's the clinic or IRCC that requests it.

thank you everyone, My AOR date is 3 Nov 2015, long pass 3 months, and medical is still in review, do you think is there any issue

Frankly, I had a open heart surgery for VSD, and I sent my echo and ecg along with positive doctors analysis for next 5 years.

Seriously? they do not update express entry profiles? this is so subjective and confusing.

which country are you from?

seriously, national courier in my country are paralyzed, and any mails are almost impossible to track!

I hope for the best.. I recently contacted my clinic and they have informed me that there are no additional medical tests requested yet.

Hi ,

I too did Furtherance Test here in India but i didn't get any mail from CIC or my status changed in MyCIC account..It was Medicals Review in progress for 2 weeks..I just called my Panel Physician to check if they have recd any furtherance test from CIC and they informed me that they did received furtherance test..Hence I did additional test and then my panel physician uploaded the latest results..It got passed next day itself..

Hence I would recommend to keep calling your Panel Physician to check any further tests requests or not..
