Hi everyone. I applied for a Master's program and got accepted, but I'm still waiting on funding info. If I get funding that is equal to or more than my expenses, do I still need to show additional proof of funds in study permit application or would the acceptance letter be enough proof? Would like to know your thoughts, or if anyone has experienced anything similar.

Well it depends on the funding. If it covers your tuition + living expenses ($10,000 Note: $11,000 for Quebec) then you will probably just have to show enough funds to pay for your travel to and from Canada + something extra for incidentals. Hope this helps.
