Adding Spouse in CEC application

Hi Guys,

I am getting married in June and want to add my spouse in my application in july which was accepted on January 9, 2014.

How much delay it can cause by adding spouse in existing application as my PGWP is expiring on July 2014 and I know I can get BOWP. If some body have this experience please let me know.

2nd option is I took her on visit Visa and she will get Open work permit till July 2014. And once I get my PR most probably in January 2015, I can sponsor her while she will be in Canada but till what time she can live in Canada? as her case will be in process.
And during sponsor What will be her status and she will be able to work or not ?

It will be really appreciated if somebody can help me

HI , I had similar kind of situation , I added my husband to my application but won't suggest you to bring her here on visitor visa as one of my friend applied and his spouse got rejected for visitor visa . My file is still under process ...

easiest to add her to application rather than sponsor her which can take 12-18 months.
as previously mentioned, a visitor visa could well be declined as there is strong reason for CIC to think that she would stay due to the ties to you.
