Adding spouse after ppr, taking too long, please connect here

Hi guys,

Even I am in similar situation. I recently added my wife to my application(FSW-O).

Below is my timeline.
AOR - 27th Oct 2018.
Got married - 17 May 2019.
Received ADR for spouse's list of documents - 5 June 2019.
ADR uploaded - 2 July 2019.
Spouse name added to EE profile - 4 July 2019.

Ever since uploading the ADR files the status on my profile says:

Review of additional documents: Not applicable.

Could someone please explain to me what are the stages after uploading ADR?

After getting PPR, I updated about marriage and submitted all documents via webform. They replied on 04/24/2019 saying they received and sent to the visa office for processing.

But still my wife is not added in my application. No UCI updated.

And also no medicals requested.

Usually how much time does it take to get UCI updated and requesting medicals?

Anybody in the same boat?

What is ur updated status? Why you used webform to update visa office? I got PPR email on 31.05.2019 and got married on 09.06.2019. Informed cic on 10.06.2019 and got reply thru my account on 13.06.2019. I submitted all documents on 13.07.2019. My spouse medical took place on 16.07.2019 and same day i updated CIC. 31.07.2019 i got biometric Request for spouse and same time my spouse UCI was updated. Biometrics updated on 05.08.2019.

They asked me to upload docs in my profile where new tabs were created... what is ur spouse’s application updated status ?

Hi all,

I have received my PPR email but I am getting married in December. I am not adding my husband to my application because I don't want to restart the process. Would be is applying for it independently. Will this affect my landing if it's planned after my marriage.

Should I land in Canada before getting married and then change my status?

If you don't want to add your husband to your application then you have to land before you get married. If you get married before you land, you will have no choice but to add your husband to your application.

Quick question, I have a bit of a situation.

My AOR is 16th Feb 2019. I got married on 12th June. Informed CIC on 30th June regarding my marital status change via CSE (Also sent wife's passport, birth certificate non-translated, IELTS, WES - basically what I had of her at the moment). On 17th July, I got my PPR and between those 18 days period, case officer had not got back to me with any document requirements for Wife. So on 18th July also I sent the second reminder that I'm married and on 20th I called CIC and informed the agent as well, she said wait for the case officer to get back to me.

What would happened to my PPR in this case? Will my case be reassessed all over again? Will it take a long time? I have all the documents of my spouse ready by the time I received my PPR (From translations, to work letters to updated proof of funds) but have no way of sending until the case officer asks me to. I really don't want to take the sponsorship route as well since we are newly married.

Please help me out with your advises

Once you land and become a PR, you do not need to declare that you got married. You will need to sponsor your spouse.

Please I have a different issue. I got married and informed CIC through a CSE webform. I only got an vague response that my query has been sent to the responsible office. I have now gotten PPR (8th August) and still don't know what to do, haven't received any response on addition of my spouse. Please help, I have been given 15 days to submit my passport.

Yes I got it two days after submitting spouse documents

Nopes.As per GCMS everything done except medical.. it's under review
