Adding spouse after AOR

so yesterday was a draw and I got ITA again. I became CEC-eligible since last November, so I created a second profile that time, thinking that they processed CEC faster than FSW, which was true last year. Then, they stopped drawing CEC and only did PNP...
Until now I got picked up.

I had a friend who submitted PNP way back in 2020, but didnt get PR but she submitted CEC in mid 2021, and got PR within 3 months! Her PNP app was still in progress LOL.

Now, i'm just tipping towards submitting another application. But the my medical was expired and already extended so it is still valid, wonder if I can reuse that one...

Got medical requests for both spouse and me. Looks like things are moving pretty fast now.

Just an update: got medical done on the 30th, and it was submitted to IRCC on the 1st. Checked later in the evening, it was passed the same day.

The AOR is September 2020, and the VO was Ottawa initially, and I never checked after that, so don't know who is working overtime on my file. LOL

Yes, and also you can call IRCC and ask about the VO as well.

Hi everyone, Just wanted to share an update on my application.

FSW Inland with dependent outland (US).
ITA- July 2020
AOR - Sep 20,2020
1st Med passed - Oct 29,2020
Got married in Feb 2022 and informed IRCC to add spouse as dependent to application. IRCC sent request letter for spouse application package with all the necessary document in Mar 2022.
2nd Med passed for principal applicant - April 4,2022 (automatic extension)
Uploaded all spouse documents April 15,2022 expect PCC from India. (uploaded this later via webform on May 6,2022).
Received request from IRCC for principal applicant updated PCC - July 29,2022
Review of additional documents status changes "we are reviewing additional documents provided by you" - August 10,2022(Ghost update - morning)
RFV/Information Letter requesting spouse to submit passport - August 10,2022 (end of day around 7.30pm)
Both myself and spouse got IRCC Portal email for PR confirmation. - August 11,2022 .
Since my spouse is also here in Canada currently visiting me I had responded that both of us are in Canada currently for the portal email from IRCC.
Received login credentials for PR portal. Have confirmed presence in Canada for both of us and update address and photo - August 12,2022

P.S. - For the 2nd PCC update I received on July 29, I haven't yet submitted anything because the deadline was August 29,2022. In the meanwhile, the additional document review started and the upload link I had for the PCC replacement disappeared Aug 10. Reached out to IRCC through webform to let them know about it but I think it's all good now because they already approved the application.

I had my review document status reading "July 26, 2022 We are reviewing the additional documents you provided." I have not heard anything since this time. And my AOR is 22nd March, 2020. Got married May 2021. My spouse was added 15th May, 2022 to my application. We are yet to get biometric request for spouse. We just even got upfront Medicals for spouse redone since the first one expired July, 2022.


This anxiety is disturbing

You said cover a year after adding spouse "- was this" adding spouse" the application to add spouse or when spouse was added to your cic portal account.

If your spouse's name was added to your account a year ago then I'm do worried that IRCC will be wasting unnecessary time

Oh and they extended my own medicals ONCE, which covered two years post-AOR, but since my application is beyond two years of processing time it seems like they didn't extend it a second time.
This is stupid because I'm still under 30 and perfectly healthy so why did I have to pay another 320 euros of medical expenses for their crazy processing time?

It's been over a year since spouse name first appeared in my CIC account. It took only a couple of months after informing the IRCC though.

As per IRCC, 80% of EE FSW applications should be cleared by Dec-22 this year so all we can do is remain optimistic and hope for an update soon.

May to date, the date of the furum has passed and I still have not yet obtained my visa.
