??? :-[

Hi My friends,

I hope you can help me here.

Long story short, I was nominated by BC government as a single/unmarried person and then entered the pool and received ITA as a single.

15 days after I received ITA, my boyfriend and I have been together long enough to become common-law partner. So I added him to my application as my spouse.

Now we have a problem because his name is not on ITA, the clinic refused to offer medical exam to him.

However, his medical exam result is required by EE online application.

I don’t think we can get an invitation with his name on it. And looks like there is no way for him to drop the application without declining the invitation.

Did anyone face the same issue? Do we have to decline the invitation?

Thanks in advance!

Do you have possibility to go to different clinic?

It's a little weird for me that they refused it base on that kind of information. When I was scheduling appointment for my husband and I, we just informed the clinic that it's for the permament residency and we were suposed to bring only passports. We didn't provide them any information about our application.

Same here...only showed passport

Help! I was told by the clinics that upfront medical exam is no longer available... It is true?

Sorry, but what kind of city/town are you in that this clinic does not know the current EE procedures? Or are you just talking to some disgruntled clerks? What they're telling you is BS.

Find another clinic who knows what they're talking about. If there's no other choice, then argue with this clinic. I can't believe they're refusing to take your money.

Hi Zoey!

I would really appreciate if you can share with me your experience when you added your partner in after received ITA.

The reason why I ask is because me and my partner are going through same situation. My partner has just received ITA for his application. We are considering if he should add me in at this moment. And if his score will be recalculated after adding me? I seriously don't want to ruin his application by adding me in.

Could you please share with me your experience? Did you score got recalculated after you added your partner? So far, I can only found you who have done so. The rest are just pretty much assuming...

Much appreciate!!!
