activty? in personal history question??

What do I write when in personal history they ask about my activity when I was at home doing nothing? As there was gap between two degrees? Or i was just at home?

I just wrote just that. I gave them the address where I stayed and said that I was looking for a job or preparing for my next degree. It does not hurt to tell them that

if you were unemployed, you write unemployed. if you were a student, you write student. if you were on break from school, then you write the dates you were on break for, and write that you were on break from school.
