Accounting jobs in Canada for Indian Chartered Accountant with experience

Hi All,

My wife is a Chartered Accountant(India).She has job experience of 6 + years in India , UK taxation and other audit areas.
She is looking for some job oppurtunities in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

I have few questions on same.
1) What she should do to get some good job opportunities in Montreal, Quebec, Canada ?
2) What qualifications she needs to work in finance, audit and same domaine.
3) How much time it takes for prepration of Uniform Evaluation ("UFE") ? and releated details ?
if any body would have attemted..then their experience will be helpfull ?
4) She is willing to obtain Canadian CA degree..how many years she need to study and what exams she need to clear..any details on same will be helpful ?5) How to start job hunt for people in this domain and what is the demand for international people ?

Any suggestions regarding above is welcomed.

Hello Mike,

sorry I do not have the answer you're seeking, but my guess is you might have an answer for two of my question:

1. Under the new FSW Program, how many points would a chartered accountant get out of 25? I am hearing they get 23. I am a bit surprised, as even M.Com Degree holders get 23 score. Isn't CA considered a better degree and therefore more points? If you know, please comment

2. Would the Indian CA degree map to Higher Education or PHD when applying to WES (for credentials evaluation) ?
