Hi,I am in Abu dhabi my son just got study permit from canada he is 19 years old can i accompanying him i have got 3 years v1 category Canadian visit visa plz its urgent if any one can help me

Thanks for ur reply but i am asking about accompanying parent can i visit canada as accompanying parent and can i am eligible to apply open work permit he got his visa in may 2014 and i got in june 2014 my visa is valid for 3 years and v1 category

No - the accompanying parent is certainly not eligible for an open work permit.

The accompanying parent is not allowed to live or work in Canada. The accompanying parent can come to Canada for up to six months as a visitor. If the accompanying parent wants to stay longer, they will have to apply to extend their visitor visa. Note that not all extensions are approved.

The program for OWP is only valid for SPOUSES, not parents. You as a parent, cannot get any immigration benefit for your child's SP....

You are a visitor, plain and simple. You are not allowed to work or go to school

1. A 19 year old is an adult in Canada. No the parents can't work.
2. Yes, as kindergarten is not considered schooling.

Even if you child is a minor (and you stated he is 19 so he's not) it would not give you the right to work in Canada. You can visit but if you want to work you need to qualify for a WP or immigration on your own.
