It sounds as though your employer is not paying taxes or declaring they are employing anyone. Working in a job where you get a cash etransfer, no SIN number required, etc. is a very good sign that your job is likely not being declared to the government. It is good that you are going to declare your income but your employer is not employing you legally and therefore not taking any deductions to pay the government. When finding employment you should look for jobs where you need to fill out tax documents with your SIN # on the first day.

They are not students, they are PR seekers, the Canadian Government is making a huge mistake, and the next generations will pay for this.

Canada is allowing far too many people in , and the main problem is that people not staying in the province which is giving them PR , thus creating far too much pressure on Ontario. Its becoming really bad.

You are living in fools paradise , you cannot see the decay that has been going on. Same thing happened in UK , and they close hundreds of colleges , but the damage was already done , Canada is repeating the same mistake , just for being politically correct.

No, I am not anti-immigrant, I want immigration to be properly regulated.

For example, if you and I are applying for immigration, I get PN , I get extra points for that and I immigrate, you could not get. Now after getting PR I move out and start living in another province, it's unfair on you as well it defeats the purpose of such a programe

If I want students I would be looking for genuine students, not job seekers. What is happening is that after they pass out, the agents are there who are selling LMI, and thus this fraud is being carried on a large scale. These wrong things should be stopped.

You need to immigrate people in shortage occupations and in places they are required , if I need a plumber I would bring him in rather then telling a Banker from somewhere to come work as a plumber here after getting a license.

Hi everyone, I'm graduating next year and I accidentally worked a total of 13 extra hours in 3 weeks (4.5h, 4.5h, 4h) this month. It's paid through etransfer and I gave out an invoice (with dates & hours on it). But there wasn't any legal names or SIN or taxes around. I've never exceeded the limit before. How would it affect my PGWP next year? Any info is appreciated, thank you!

My question is that, did you work while awaiting for a decision regarding your PGWP in applied status. I am in similar situation right now. I worked for 21 hours instead of 20 hours for only one week during my studies. Does this considered as illegal work I am planning to explain it in an loe about the situation. What will be your suggestion?
