The occupation listed in your job offer must be the same as the primary occupation in your Express Entry profile.Does anyone know if the job offer that falls under the Alberta list (i.e NOC and NACIS) is enough to apply for the accelerated tech pathway, even though I'm still a student and I'm graduating in 2 months, and my federal Noc experience is different? Thanks
Until you have a full year of work experience post-graduation in Canada, you'll be a FSW applicant and the primary NOC you have listed in your EE profile must be a NOC where you have at least one year of full time and continuous work experience. So your primary NOC will have to be either the research assistance or the teaching assistant.Ok, thanks for your reply, but I will start this new job in the industry in May 2023 after Im done with my Ph.D. my current occupation since 2018 is a student, and before that, I was a teaching assistant and research assistant, What should I do in this case?
Should I change my occupation in the express entry once I get the job offer?
Thanks for your help
I don't understand your question. What about if only 2 years of foreign experience out of 5 years were a technician which falls into the Albert list, will that be ok
Is your job offer a technician role? You can use the technician job NOC as your primary NOC in your EE profile. But again, this NOC must match the occupation / NOC in the job offer. It's not enough that your primary NOC simply matches the Alberta list - it must match your job offer.I mean I have 5 years of experience
2 years as a teaching assistant and research assistant
2 years as a technician
then 1 year as a lectures
So I have a different NOC in my express entry but one of the matches is what is Albert looking for I worked there for 2 years, will this be good enough?
Thanks
You simply select this NOC as your primary NOC in your EE profile.Yes, my job offer is a technician role. both job offer in Alberta and my previous NOC are the same duties.
But the question how can I make this
You can use the technician job NOC as your primary NOC in your EE profile.
How can I do that? I did this job between 2015-2017 So it was not the last job for me
The last one I was a lecturer then I started studying in 2018 at u of a
I think you need to spend some time reading through the details here:Do you mean when I fill the forum for accelerated tech pathway, should I choose this NOC?
