ACCA equivalency through WES!! pls help.

Thanks a lot Rehan but I don't think I will be getting my membership certificate any sooner. Even though I applied in November it is still going to get dispatched by 16 Feb, 2018 and 12 weeks after that as well. Is it compulsory to have Membership certificate before sending documents to WES or letter of good standing should be ok.

Unfortunately yes it is necessary to send a copy of membership certificate to WES. You may send an email to ACCA requesting them to send you scanned copy on email and they might send it to you. You can then print it and send to WES.

hi all, did anyone get assessment only for OBU, i am planning to submit RAP upon completion of fundamentals level only.

OBU is equivalent to 4 Years Canadian bachelors. I got it done from WES.

No prob.

I personally do not think WES will provide you 4 years equivalency if you are not fully qualified. but you can give it a shot.

I am also an ACCA member and hold BSc. in Applied accounting from OBU.

I received equivalency of 4 years bachelors each. You should receive 4 years bachelors equivalency too. The exemption part can be a problem while doing CPA as CPA requires letter from ACCA that the qualification was completed without any exemptions.

As far as getting evaluation from WES is concerned, in my opinion, you shouldn't worry.

As an ACCA Affiliate and an Oxford Brookes Graduate, I should be eligible to claim points as holder of "two or more degrees, or diplomas" under the points system, yes?

Well i am not sure what equivalency WES will award to ACCA Affiliate. But if it does then yes you should still be able to claim two or more degrees (4 Years Bachelor for OBU + 1-2 Year whatever equivalency WES provides for ACCA Affiliate).

WES charges fix amount regardless of number of qualifications you get assessed. But you will need to pay GBP 15 for Transcript copies + GBP 25 DHL Delivery (Optional) to OBU for them to send transcripts to WES.

Yes. U need to be in good standing with the qualification board you are having access. Just pay the fees

I don't understand. In order to be a member you suppose to complete cpd. They can't take away your experience. If you did not do cpd then you are not a member, you are a student

What equivalency did WES award for ACCA affiliate + OBU degree?

I am an ACCA Member and also have OBU Bsc degree..my question is do i only need to submit ACCA membership and transcripts to WES or do i need to send both ACCA Membership and OBU because i guess both gets evaluated with bachelors degree eventually.
