ACCA equivalency through WES!! pls help.

Please for those evaluating ACCA with WES, pls, I need a bit of help for my sister

For country of education: I put my country of residence

Type of Education: I put Professional Education Qualifications

Name of Institution: ACCA
Name of dioloma/ certificate: im not sure what to put there, she has passed 5 papers in total

Year Awarded: 2019 (since that was the year she the last exam she sat for)

Years attended: 2017 to 2019

Please am I correct and what should I put for name of diploma

Has anyone tried to send transcript from Canadian college/university to WES Canada for ICAP evaluation? If yes, what email id of WES Canada do we provide to send the transcript?

You should receive membership certificate this month as per their practice. Here is what i did after registering with WES and making payment.

1. Go to OBU online shop and purchase transcript copy. This Costs GBP 15 and extra GBP 25 if you want DHL Courier Delivery. Otherwise they will send by normal post without tracking.
2. Once Purchase is done, email them at acca@brookes.ac.uk with a copy of your passport and order number alongwith WES address and reference number. They will dispatch within 10-12 days to WES.
3. Send an Email to members@accaglobal.com with your WES reference number and ask them to send your documents to WES Canada. They will do it in 10-15 days.
4. Send Copy of your membership certificate and OBU Degree yourself to WES Canada.

Hope you are doing well. I wanted to get some clarification regarding the ECA process to get your degree evaluated from WES for my girlfriend who is originally from Karachi, Pakistan.

I understand that the University Degree must be a Canadian 3 or 4 Years Bachelors equivalent for the Mutual Recognition Agreement to be effective for a CPA Registration in Canada. As you are aware that a 2-Year B.Com Degree from University of Karachi is not considered equivalent to a Canadian Bachelors, I was wondering if the AAT Technician Level 4 which she pursued from Croydon College UK would give her the remaining 1 year credit to make her overall studies equivalent to a Canadian 3 Year Bachelor degree.

She did her AAT in UK before continuing onto ACCA journey. If someone you know already has gone through this process, it would give her some assurance to proceed in this direction.

Another question I have is regarding the Degree Award Certificate of B.Com. As she moved to UK soon after her exams, the degree award ceremony was never attended and she is not aware where her award certificate is currently.

Is there anyone who would know how to get this award certificate back from University of Karachi and to have its whereabouts.

Hello everyone I have done ca inter pak and on basis of that I have completed 3.5yr article.For that I have salary proof in my bank statements but it is very low.Further I can have expereince letter from my firm on which trainee student would be mentioned. I also have letter from icap stating my completion of articles.

I have gained exemption on basis of ca inter and have completed acca advanced diploma which is equalant to 3 yrs bachelors as per Acca. But I have claimed exemptions and have given only two papers .I have 2 yr graduation B.a degree also .

Am i eligible for Candian immigration. And can select 2 or more degrees. I'm more doubtful towards expereince point of view.

Your BA will be assessed as 2-years diploma from WES or any other body and IF you can get ACCA's diploma's equivalence as 3 years, then, YES you ca claim points for 2 or more degrees.
As far for your experience, I am not sure about that, You have to consult someone appropriate (A person with CA or CA inter getting their experience assessed for immigration.)

You need to contact the provincial CPA body to confirm the equivalency and acceptance of your qualifications for CPA. Every province has different rules.

I would suggest to get someone (relative, friend etc) visit University of Karachi and get the details from Admin Dept. there. Unfortunately there is no online service or easy to reach contact number.

and where is this sentence " Enrolled in a programme where part of the study is completed by partner institute" written, in front of OBU or ACCA?

In my opinion! (Pl. clarify from others)
and Yes! you still can choose two or more degrees as the requirement is to have a One degree/diploma/certificate of 3 years or more. a WES report stating Bachelors 3 years and Bachelors 4 years, would be sufficient in that case.

We never know what ACCA sends to WES in the name of transcript. Whenever i contacted them on email or call, they said that they will send the required and relevant documents to WES. They have been doing it for tons of members and i believe they have dedicated team just to manage the WES dispatches. So, It is unlikely that it will cause any issues for you.

I also had F1 to F3 exempted as i entered via CAT route but i never sent my CAT credentials to WES. Still got 4 years bachelors.

I am ACCA Affiliate from June 2015 but currently unactive due to non-payment. Can i apply for equivalency on basis of ACCA from WES or Not??
