Academic Suspension & Still Waiting For PPR

Can anybody with expertise please help?
I am still waiting for my PPR & I have been out on academic suspension for 2 terms The program started in September 2020 and will end in April 2020) I have been put on suspension because I stopped attending classes. My intention was to change DLI. I have secured admission at another college (starting in September 2021)

any idea how does this academic suspension affect a student’s status in Canada?

Your study permit may have become invalid.

As per IRCC
If a student does not resume their studies within 150 days, they should do either of the following:

• change their status (that is, change to visitor status or worker status)
• leave Canada

I think OP is in his/her own country, not in Canada. So your suggestion doesn't apply to him/her...

PPR for me, for studying in Canada. I am still waiting for a final decision on my study permit! Been more than 8 months!

I think OP is in his/her own country, not in Canada. So your suggestion doesn't apply to him/her...

Would be wise to be truthful and honest before as it always helps in immigration in general before the VO finds it out avoiding any complications which may set in. Suggest to send in the new LOA through the web form along with an explanation that the OP was suspended/discontinued their studies and has moved on to a different DLI.
