I need your advice to reapply as I got a refusal today. Application submitted 19 September online – Abu Dhabi


You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary
resident. In reaching this decision, I considered several factors, including:

1. Immigration status in country of residence

2. Family ties in Canada and in country of residence

3. Current employment situation

You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements.

About myself

I am working as Senior Recruitment Officer living in UAE since 2010 and serving a Construction Company since then and a permanent employee age 35. My wife is Software Developer working since April 2016 in Dubai.

Travel History: Visited Turkey, South Korea, China, KSA, (Europe and holding a USA valid visa with family)

I will appreciate if you please advice me should I reapply if yes, should I produce letter from BANK that I have this much balance and Letter from employer that my job is permanent.

Submitted on 11th September in Kuwait VFS. The endless wait continues. What is the last date of approved list?

I also submitted my passport on 11th September, still it says " being processed at Abu Dhabi".

Is your application approved in CIC?
And is it being transferred by VFS. There is so much of delay. Btw are u a single applicant or family

Hi yes it is updated. Visa was issued on 25 but cic status was updated today. I received passports with two copies COPR.

Fsw applicants are either processed at london or abu dhabi..visa might be stamped at isl but processing not done there

Pakistan is covered by London VO.

Nope 7th is not yet cleared, I have not received a CIC or VFS update yet!

Friends !!
I have a question about tax in the future.

Lets say I get my Canadian Citizenship after a few years and leave Canada to work abroad.
I will not be married or having any dependents or Property in Canada including( bank accounts, credit cards, cars, rental apartment, furniture etc)
I would have nothing at all !

I intend to work in Dubai for many years in the future after receiving citizenship.

Will I have to pay taxes in Canada at any point after leaving Canada keeping above conditions mind. I want to maintain my Canadian citizenship. (factual resident, deemed, non-resident....??? im really confused)

Does anybody know anything about it.

Please advice.
