Achievement,

Why are you sounding worried? You have experienced a breakthrough. You have been approved already. You don't need to live in suspense anymore. Enjoy it mate. You deserve it. After all that you've been through, you can surely wait for the passport.

I am waiting for my PPR. Don't know ho long that will be. Does that make you feel good about yourself? :)

Thanks Dears..

Agreed 100%. you are right.

My one of friends got a situation that his son renewed passport was not added to his application. When he as sent Passports for COPR after PPR. They requested again after a month.

Good thing that he also sent his renewed copy by courier where he attached Proof of airway bill. At the end he got his COPR.

I wish everyone in this forum to get PPR and COPRs..

Just be thinking and share my words and feelings. It's been long wait after several attempts starts from FSW 2014 and NSP 2014.

Thanks for your support. Let me share good news soon..Wish you good luck too.....and everyone..

The day starts for ADVO is tomorrow. Let us hope to hear good news for us.... :) :)

I believe that the ADVO is closed even today the 28th and will resume on 29th. At least that's what I have read on CIC.

Hi,

When does a visa office is assigned to a file? I have submitted my app around 10 days back and received AOR and Medical Passed notification as of yet and my application shows review in progress as of now.

Hello Sikkavarun,

Your question is a bit unclear. Are you asking where does your file get sent for processing? Or when does the Visa Office start the process?

I believe, first CPC-Ottawa process your application for eligibility check and then transfer to Abu Dhabi office further processing.

This what I understand from my GCMS notes!

They have send my file to Abu Dhabi after one month.

Hello All,

I just had a question about Background Checks. My Spouse Visa application is being processed in Abu Dhabi. My wife is in Canada.

I have not been able to apply for my GCMS Notes so I'm not sure about my current status, except that the CIC Online status has reached to Medical Received on line 3.

I was born in 1983. I am from Pakistan but I was born and raised in Dubai. Starting 2007, I started facing employment issues due to the recession in those years. So from 2007 end to 2009 end, I had to make visits to my country which is Pakistan and apply for 3 Month Visit Visas to come back to Dubai every time, since I was not able to secure an employment visa for myself in that duration. Yes, it was that difficult and took that long. Each time I visited, I spent not more than 2 weeks to a month tops in Pakistan. I couldn't stay in Pakistan because my entire family was and still is in Dubai.

I believe you all know where this is heading. During my Background Checks, would this reason of my visits back and forth t Pakistan and Dubai between 2007 to 2009, have any impact of my situation or process times?
