Hello

I just gt my PPR 8)

I have a question. is there any specific photography studio to go to for the pictures?

What was your experience?

Thanks

Congratulations! You only waited for 9 days from BG-In-progress to PPR...That's good!

Nothing, just bring the copy of "Permanent Residence Photograph Specifications" in any photo studio...

may all your words be true :) that would be amazing :) but i have learnt in this process to expect the least so be less stressed or else the wait killed me!

Hello Karakou,

Congratulations! That was not too bad at all. Was you VO in Abu Dhabi?

Regarding your photographs, usually Studios are aware with the requirements for Embassies. Just visit one and they should know.

Cheers!

There are applicants at ADVO who got it in around 4 months (+- a week) ....I do not think we have enough data to say the average is 6 months ...the forum does not have all applicants on it... 4 months is generally the average time for all people applying from everywhere ... every file is a different case and we cannot really compare ourselves to others.

I believe review process also depends on Visa officer who reviews our file. Some of them are lucky where they got cleared faster.

Congrats. All the best.

Please note that Specifications for Photograph has updated on January 2016 (04-01-16). Please click link in your PPR letter which you can review specifications.

Please refer below link which i got in my PPR letter and also specs;

Notes to the photographer

The photographs must be:

1. taken by a commercial photographer
2. 50 mm x 70 mm (2 inches wide x 2 3/4 inches long) and sized so the height of the face measures between 31 mm and 36 mm (1 1/4 inches and 1 7/16 inches) from chin to crown of head (natural top of head)

just a quick question guys ...

when filling the schedule 4 and 4 a we are asked if we haave any loans or liabilities...

i have a loan of 9000 CAD which gets deducted on a monthly basis from my salary and i included that in my schedule a form

so it calculated as libailites as 9000 CAD and my net worth came down as 6000 CAD.

will this be a problem and count to as i have less funds to setle?

how ever my bank balance was 16000 CAD at that time and i have maintained it.

You should not worry... if your BG check became in progress that means most likely you have passed eligibility and your proof of funds was sufficient...

Moreover, you did not need to provide any of that as the schedule 4A does not apply to us as FSW or CEC skilled migrants..it applies to business owners immigrating on that basis...most just sent an loe instead of the sche 4A and explained it is an error.

Relax and wait for your PPR....though i myself need to relax because im getting very tense over the PPR delay..so many applief after me and got it quickly....i am a single applicant with a very limited travel history....nothing yet.... so frustrating...

Regards,

Send them a CSE explaining the situation and ask them to expedite the process or return it to you and give you time to return and send it back....
