Hi Que Em,

Not from me (AOR 22 May).. hoping that this week it will be good for us all :)

I have a question if you could please help..

I am residing in Abu Dhabi, so i am assuming my VO would be abu dhabi (or ottowa) ..

I have not paid my Landing fee upfront, but was requested to pay it mid Sept which i did..

Do you or anyone else know how long does it take for RPRF to ppr if my VO was abu dhabi?

Also, is there an easy way to find out where my VO is? Other than ordering notes which could take forever.

Thanks!

Hi adtocanada,

001-613-944-4000

Through this number, you can reach IRCC Call Center from outside Canada. Ask about your application status and visa office. :)
I paid my RPRF upfront and have no idea how long it takes for a PPR after the RPRF request. Maybe, others can share their experience.

Good luck!

Thanks for the info! Can you advise what personal info might CIC ask me ( file number, etc)? My application is being handled by a consultant so i need to ask them about these details to have them in hand when calling CIC.

Thanks so much!

Well, usually, they ask following details to confirm an applicant's identity:
  • application no. or UCI,
  • full name,
  • date and place of birth,
  • address,
  • contact number,
  • email, etc.

So, we have only 7 members here from ADVO?

ADVO is usually slow. In my case, it took three weeks for ADVO to process my PPRs. I was a resident of Abu Dhabi at the time of issuance of PPRs.

Been this way after I passed my 2nd medical which was weird as they asked me to do a test for Hep C. How much longer do you think I need to wait? I am applying in NOC 4163. Have been living in UAE, Spain, Uk and India prior with no criminal record and all PCC provided. All documents provided and clean. Whats going on?? Been waiting exactly 9 months and 20 days. Anyone got PPR with similar profile??

Best,
Kev

@keviniswaiting

Have you tried calling IRCC call center, raising a CSE or writing an email to your visa office? What about your GCMS notes?
