Nothing so far. I think we have nearly the same timeline. In my opinion, the reason behind our misery is that Abu Dhabi visa office is mainly dealing with refugees. Currently, They are working on approving 25000 applications.

In the meanwhile I also applied for a tourist visa to Canada so can visit with my family and unfortunately got rejected and the reason given I dont have strong ties with the resident country(UAE) eventhough I am born and raised here. This reason is beyond my immigination (

i have been done my medical almost 14 months and so far no updates my all friends have taken there visa on passport but only me left..my husband is pakistani national may be this is the reason of delay.

It actually depends on whether they finished your background check or not. I remember when they used to send medical requests after back ground checks; it took like 10 days for the PPR to follow.

Could you tell me when you submitted your file? And the exact date they sent you the medical request.

My application for permanent residence was received on November 2, 2015
Correspondence acknowledging receipt of my application January 22, 2016
Started processing my application on February 10, 2016
Medical request received February 4, 2018
