Any updates?

Two members in another forum have just received passports request. They got their medical requests 10 days ago and as far as I know their applications were received in July and September 2015.

My application was received 31 July 2015, AOR 3 November 2015, Medical Request 11 October 2016, RPRF & PCC request 17 October 2016... and now i'm just waiting for PPR.

Hello guys, i would like to give u all a little update.
I did my medical test, and it's already sent and received by CIC via emedical system.

Then ADVO sent me RPRF request and PCC request today.:D
i guess ADVO is back on track.

i have a question, regarding the PCC, here's what the email states:

-Police certificates must be issued after your last period of residence (i.e. more than 6 months) in that country. If your police certificate from your current country of residence is more than 12 months old, you must submit an updated police certificate issued within the last 6 months.

i have one police certificate that is expired but it was after my last period of residence in my country and i didn't go there again after that.
and i have another police certificate for the current country which is also expired but less than 12 months old.

from what i understood, if i send both right now, i'm following the exact instructions of the email, yet when i think about it, both already expired and one of them will take somewhere between 45 days to 3 months to get, and they only gave me 30 days to fulfill this request.

what should i do? thanks.

Oh I'm late to congratulate you Bacteria! Congrats! Yes just send them a fresh PCC to avoid any issues!! Good luck and please update us....

yes, my ecas and mycic both have changed.
the weirdest part is that my ecas is showing 6 line, 2 of them are duplicates as you can see here:

1- We received your application for permanent residence on July 31, 2015.

2- We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on November 2, 2015. <---- (this one was added same day they received my medical, which is very strange and don't make any sense)

3- We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on November 3, 2015.
4- We started processing your application on December 3, 2015.
5- Medical results have been received.

6- We sent you correspondence on October 17, 2016. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required. <----- (this is for the PCC & RPRF)

ANY NEWS GUYS???

There is something strange, i received an email notification from cic saying that my account has been updated, but when i log in to my account, i find nothing new, this happened to me 2 times now, one time on 19 October and another one today 25 October, did anyone had the same experience before with the cic system?

also i would like to ask you guys about something, as some of you know, i work and live in Qatar (not my country), and i did apply for PR from here, so my question is, once i get the PR Visa do i have to go directly from the current country of residence to Quebec, or can i travel back to my country to get some of my stuff and visit family and friends then go to Quebec?

Strange!! Have you tried to check your ecas? Check if your status has changed from "in process" to "decision made". As for heading to Canada from your home country, I think it will be fine. Since you have your visa stamped on your passport, you can travel from any place.

Bacteria
Have you provide the police clearance?
Have you got PPR?
