Hi Bacteria
In a previous post, you mentioned that you had expired PCCs which you were hesitant to send to the visa office . I would like to know if you sent them or you managed to get new ones. Were they the first PCCs to send or you sent others with your initial application?
I never sent PCCs with my initial application.
I didn't get new ones, i sent the old ones and i will tell you why it worked.
the expiration written on the PCCs by the issuer is not the same as the expiration used by the Canadian Visa Office, they have their own expiration system, for example:
PCC for the country that u currently reside in (wether it's your country or not) should not be more than 12 months only since it was issued, even if it's written on the PCC itself that it will expire after 3 months or 6 months.
PCCs for every country that u lived in more than 6 months should be issued either after you already left the country (from an embassy or something) or you left the country before the expiration date on it, and u never came back again, even if the PCC is 1 or 2 or even 5 years old as long as you did not come back again, they will accept it.
hope this was clear and helpful.
