it was saying over due the second day after they sent me the passport request, which was weird.
Anyway, i think the myCIC account passport upload thing is only for people with nationalities that don't require a visa stamping, they will have to upload passport scans, and the VO will send them only the COPR.

on the second page, you know the page where they display the status of your application like:

Application/profile status Open
Review of eligibility Review in Progress
Review of medical results Passed

etc...

On that page scroll down all the way to the bottom, you will find a blue button at the lower left corner entitled "View Submitted Application", click on that button and you will find the section where they list the uploaded documents and the overdue uploads for the passport scans.

so you provided them with the required documents like RPRF receipt via courier?

ok, don't bother yourself with the linked application, you already finished all this process and your passport is at the embassy.
just get yourself mentally and financially ready to wait for a week or even 2 weeks before receiving your passport.

Exactly i was just thinking not bother myself our passports are there and visa email is received.
Anyway if nothing will be mentioned on that account i don't need it.
We only need our passports back nchalla as per God will

Well, i've received a notification yesterday from the linked application myCIC, saying that there was an update in my PR application, so i logged in, and i've noticed this:

Application/profile status Closed <--- (it used to say open)

so that means, or i hope it means they issued my COPR and visa. but no words from VFS Qatar though.
But what's really intriguing, is that it happened on a Saturday at 11:15 am, i know for a fact that Abu Dhabi VO are closed Friday & Saturday, i guess someone is working over time to finish all those overdue applications.

Btw on my ecas i have only 4 lines last one saying medical received but nothing about PR request or fees it's like that cron long ( october)

Don't worry about it, the ecas is always 100 years behind the actual thing, i've stopped checking it...it has become a useless tool.

Congratulations man!!

i've got news myself, i checked my VFS tracking today and it says:

Your processed passport has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office ABU DHABI, on 12/12/2016 to the Canada Visa Application Centre.

i hope this means i will be able to pick it up this week.
