Abu Dhabi VAC - PR visa / COPR processing time?

Firstly congratulations!!

i suppose we will be informed by CIC if biomatrics is required.
I recently sent my PP through VFS Dubai, and it was pretty smooth. Although i have not got any sms notifications inspite of paying for the service.
no need for an appointment. i am not sure of the time. u may call them too.

-When CIC asked for your passport request did they tell u to go do ur biometrics?
-How long with VFS dubai keep my passport as i am travelling next month on the 20th of december.
-What are we supposed to provide VFS? According to the letter i received from CIC they only want my passport and 2 photographs plus the completed form which i am supposed to say who i am travelling with etc.
-Am i supposed to include my wife and child who are both canadians in the form CIC sent me as they asked who will be travelling with me to canada on my first landing.
If you have WhatsApp it will be much easier for us to communicate as i really needs these answers quick as i want to go to VFS dubai in the next 9 hours, thank you so much.

• well they say 15-30 days. hopefully u receive it before. i will keep u posted on my timeline.
• which form did cic send u. cos i received none. for my its my dependent and myself. both which a EE applicant

Yes pls keep me updated , I'm actually on my way now to the vfs office here in Dubai! Cic just sent me a letter explaining that my application is almost to the end of the process and i have to submit my passport.
I also have to fill up the people travelling with me who will be my wife and child who are both canadian citizens and i have to provide photos aswell.
What documents did u provide vfs? Are u applying using spousal sponsership?

Yes pls keep me updated , I'm actually on my way now to the vfs office here in Dubai! Cic just sent me a letter explaining that my application is almost to the end of the process and i have to submit my passport.
I also have to fill up the people travelling with me who will be my wife and child who are both canadian citizens and i have to provide photos aswell.
What documents did u provide vfs? Are u applying using spousal sponsership?

the required document is mentioned on the email

• copy of ppr email
• 1 photos with right specs and details on the back
• VAC form, which the vfs provided me with.

i just submitted my passport, took about 10 minutes! gave them passport copies of my family (wife and child both canadians), 2 passport photos of myself, the passport request letter, VFS application form and i filled up delails for the delivery address for aramex.They told me it can take a maximum of 30 working days! i was shocked as thats toooooo long! im travelling next month on the 23rd so i hoping to get it back by then! I checked in my online cic application account and it says my application background check is still going on...weird they ask me to submit my passport and they are still doing my background check! what about u?

Don't worry about what they say. u will be done much sooner.
the cic account status changes once COPR is issued. i got mine today. 5 days!!

wowww 5 days only? but wait did u get ur passport now in 5 days or was it the COPR u received in 5 days? and did u apply for the spousal sponsorship?

Application approved yesterday, 1 July.

Hello. I have submitted our passports at Muscat VFS too (Abu Dhabi VO). How many days did it take you to get back your passport with the COPR? Also, where was it shown That your application was approved on July 1st? In ur CIC account? Or when you tracked it on the vfs website?

Hi I applied for TRV in VFS Abu Dhabi on 28-Aug-2018 they told me it's take 30 days but now it's almost 40 days complete still I not get any mail or SMS regarding my visa

Wow thats so long, have u tried emailing the LVO office? because they said after 30 days u have too! i know a person who took only 5 days and he got his passport stamped with the visa and COPR!
