Sub the PP 03 May and still nothing..

Hello,

We submitted our passports on 13th May through VFS Dubai and still haven't received any updates. There is no real time tracking available and it is debilitating reading the same text every day that our documents are under process at ADVO. Is there any way to expedite the process? Should we just show up at the VFS office or the embassy? Has anyone submitted the PP after 13th May and received it?

Would appreciate any input.

I submitted my passport and picture to vfs global Bangladesh on 28 May 2018, Canada visa office, Singapore received on 30 May 2018, No update yet. Its only shows your application is in "Under Process". Any Idea about Singapore Visa Office??? I am worried.

Hey guys, there's no need to panic as the processing times can vary due to the current workload of the VO, so some people get it early and some people have to wait longer.

I sent my documents to Ottawa VO from Dubai VFS and it took around 30 days to complete and receive back my passport & COPR.
The VFS tracking will only be updated once the processing is done so it will keep saying "under process" until then (yes I also kept checking it every single day ).

Compared to the previous waits (ITA, PPR) this should be a breeze! Good luck.

I also submitted on Apr 29 at VFS Dubai ,till now no update ...I got my PPR in 28 days (AOR to PPR)...Is it normal to take this much time for Visa stamping?...my friends got their visa stamped in 10 days from NDVO...21 working days are over (and counting)

I presume you sent your PP to Ottawa rather than ADVO? The processing in ADVO has slowed down during Ramadan I suppose.

have anyone submitted their passport for PR visa stamping during 2018 Ramadan?

I've sent mine via Aramex directly to the Canadian embassy, Immigration section in Abu Dhabi. Passport was received there on 17 May. Today is 11 June and still no news.....it's been more than 3 working weeks already.

It's frustrating.

It seems like a backlog situation in AD immigration office. Mine was received on 14th May and I'm yet to receive the passport back with visa and COPR. I called the immigration section, they do not entertain requests on phone and direct you to e-mail your query. I sent an e-mail and got an auto-response stating that they will take 15 days to respond.

I needed to travel for work and stuck in Dubai because of this. And now I cannot travel home for Eid too. Sigh.

Hi, do you think will be asked to submit biometrics if we receive our visas before 31July (the date the new policy is implemented) but travel after that date?
