I want to apply for canadian citizenship but problem is that i went to india for 2 mnths but got stuck there for 6 mnths because of covid does this thing gonna effect my timings for citizenship or no

It depends. I suggest you make use of the physical presence calculator. It is the best way to know whether you have enough days or not.

You should still meet the minimum requirements for citizenship to be eligible to apply. Being stuck outside the country because of COVID-19 can't be used as an excuse for not meeting the physical presence requirements.

So before you apply, I would strongly recommend that you use the physical presence calculator, enter the correct dates for all your trips. You should have been physically present in Canada for 1095 days in the past 5 years to be eligible for citizenship.
