Hi everyone,

when the panel physician submits the results to e-medical, will the grade appear in the portal? If not, how would I know the grade I received?

Cheers...

On your application you will see Medical: passed. Nothing else.

I asked the clinic for your medical results and they emailed it to us. My wife and I got an A grade

thank you.

if not passed, is it considered a final rejection of the application? is there a way for appealing?

There are two conditions that will make you fail medicals:
1) you required treatment that is very expensive (more that $6k per year)
2) you have an infectious disease and you're a danger to the Canadian population

So it's quite difícil to get rejected. In any event if it come to them thinking about rejecting you on medical grounds you'll get a chance to put a case forward of how you plan to deal with the situation, so if you need and expensive treatment how will you pay for it so that the government is not left with the bill, etc.

They send a procedural fairness letter first explaining about the possible treatment costs for the condition and give a x number of days for an explanation. If someone reaches this stage, it is recommended to take specialized attorney's help to draft a response. If you can respond them with an alternate plan for treatment, like alternate generic drugs, plan that covers your treatment etc., they might pass you.

what garde B means?

can scoliosis have an impact on our selection to immigrate to canada?
I received a grade B for my physical examination and I passed my medicals just today. It's a case-by-case thing, grade B does not necessarily mean you will fail MEDs.

If you have submitted your e-APR already, you should know the outcome within 60 days from your AOR date.

As per medical report it is a mild scoliosis and asymptomatic and without impact on daily life. What do you think?
