Hello Sir , I want to say something please help me.
" I have submitted an application to Canada under skill worker category, my individual score were 66 but with my spouse (husband's) my total points were 69. I have received a letter that my application is now under visa office for further processing. In this mean time I want to divorce my husband for my personal reasons. So may I eligible to continue my application for permanent residence whereas my individual points is 66 ?could I come to Canada without my spouse?" My second question - if I want to divorce him after come to Canada then how long I have to wait to do that? please Sir give me those answer I am waiting for kind response .Thank you .

Same problem asked by someone else.

If you divorce him before coming to Canada or rather before arrival you will be ineligible.

You can come to Canada I mean both and then get a divorce that means both will get PR. However you cannot marry a foreign spouse for another 5 years. Or you can marry cannot request a PR for him.

Its upto you.

On arrival in Canada they will talk to you to identify do you still qualify for PR.

Thanks a lot for your reply . I want to know if i want to marry (after complete divorce ) someone who is staying in my native country ,then how long I have to wait for his PR? pls Sir let me know ASAP.

you can marry; but you need to wait for 5yrs to apply PR for the person

Very typical case..................................Don't thing Canada ignores it. Stop your personal problems and stay together in the New country Canada, make mutual understanding between both of you.

Good reply Abbasi,

I have seen couples who fight have made a strong bond in Canada when they go through the initial hard time and vice versa.
