Hello my name is Harkrishan Singh. My question is that actually i am getting married in first week of August. My fiancee is permanent resident here in canada but she is divorced. She got her divorce certificate recently. I am also living here in canada on student visa . Can she apply for my permanent residency after marriage or not. She was sponsored by her first husband . She cam in canada in August 2017

If she was a sponsored spouse, she cannot sponsor you for 5 years after she became a PR.

She can't sponsor you, no.

Nothing stopping you from applying under Express Entry or one of the PNP programs if you qualify for them.

There is no way to apply before 5 years ?
This is to prevent sponsorship fraud, where someone "marries" a Canadian in order to be sponsored.
Then they "divorce" the sponsor and, as a new PR, marry and sponsor their "real" partner.
