Does my spouse need an IELTS certificate when sending the application to CIC?
Only principal applicant needs to send a valid IELTS, but for PR its not mandatory. Its only a requirment by OINP Master stream.

Is there anyone waiting for the masters stream to open in 2021 or has everyone moved to CEC? If you are waiting please lets communicate. There is just so much silence and suspense. Does anyone know if it would actually be moving to a ranking system?

Last year they opened Master Stream only once and only for approximately half an hour. It's certainly good to follow the news regarding it, but I'd suggest don't count on it too much.

hi folks,

after we sent out documents to cic, and during our waiting, can we go back to home country?
as I know , we can leave, but now the border is closed and I am afraid it's difficult to go back to Canada.
if so, can we wait in our home country until we have PR?
I know some outlanders wait for the same time or less time than inlanders.

any thoughts?

Hello everyone,
I am looking to travel back to home country for my marriage in April and I have submitted my paper based PR application on 1st December after receiving nomination. Is it advisable to add my spouse’s name to the PR file or should I wait to get PR? By what time or stage of application I am allowed to do add the name? Will my nomination become invalid or reassessed if my marital status changes? Please provide any information you have.
Thankyou.
you can inform your marital status update through webform.
but i am afraid it can only be done after you link your application to your account.

btw, have you gone back your home country?

hi guys

do we need to put self-addressed mailing labels into the package?
but I remember we have filled our address in the form.
and, we need to print the receipt after paying the fee and send it to Sydney, right?

Hi,

The self-addressed mailing labels are used for IRCC to return the application to you if they find your application is incomplete.

hi,
does anyone know when the CIC sends the biometrics letter, I paid my application fee besides my spouse application fee,I also paid the biometrics fees, but
I did not receive any letter!

Hi guys... anyone knows that if an one year master program eligible for this pathway? If I start my study this fall when can I apply for it and can I stay in Canada with my spouse meanwhile? Thank you so much

Yes it is. As long as it is masters. However they proposed moving the masters stream to NOI. No one knows if the proposal was accepted and if it was, if there would be any changes coming.

I believe there should be an update this month or the stream would open as usual in the coming days/weeks.

When filling 'imm0008' form, in the Dependant section, it says:

You must list all family members in your application for permanent residence, whether they are accompanying you to Canada or not.

So, do we have to write about our parents and brothers/sisters even if they are not living with us and they're not moving to Canada?
