About Express Entry Validity

What is the validity of Express Entry Programme. If we apply our file in the month of October, then if NO ITA has come till December 2015. After december, our file or profile will be considered for Express Entry or the file shall expired.

What about the nomination as I recently accepted a Nomination from PEI. My Express Entry Profile will expire in 14 Jan. What should I do?

Express entry profile is valid for One year from the date of creation.
