Do you mean you abandoned your spouse after she/ he got pr or she did? Either way the person is still a pr Untill removed by cic. Does that answer your question? If not plz clarify what you mean

Assuming that you failed to get her deported ( http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/how-to-deport-my-spouse-t202196.0.html;msg3117408#msg3117408 ) she will be a PR without further conditions. You will still be responsible for her for another year however.

when did they split? before or after getting PR?
why did they split? you said "neglected", can you please specify?

My son and I was sponsored by his father (common law husband) but abandoned us after more than 1 month since we arrived here in canada..will our (me and my son)'s status as permanent resident be affected? I will appreciate very much if you could answer/explain my question coz I am really confused now..thank you..

If you don't have "Condition 51" on your COPR, it will not affect your PR status.

Sounds like the OP did have Condition 51 (by stating `conditional PR' in her query), but if it's now been 2 years...is it no longer even an issue?

If you have a child with him so you don't have condition 51.
so you suppose to be fine.

That's only true if the child was born before the original application was received by CIC. There is no information on how old the child is, or how long the applicants have been in a relationship. If the child was added to the application later, it might not lift the lock-in.

Husband sponsor her wife & from the day she landed in canada she had got neglected by her husband.
so now What would be status of Abandoned/Neglected wife after 2 yrs who has conditional pr .

a sponsor does not have to wait 2 years to report a relationship breakdown if they have condition 51. if the wife abandoned the sponsor, the sponsor has every right to contact CIC and report the relationship breakdown as soon as it happens. at that point, it's in CIC's hands, and the sponsor doesn't have much to do with what will happen to the pr.
