Not yet. It's on 2nd stage now. My husband's lawyer submitted memorandum of argument. Ircc lawyer also submitted their argument. Now we have 10 days of submitting a reply memorandum of argument. No idea where it's taking us!
Its unfortunate that IRCC dragged your case this long. In the next 30-60 days, hopefully you will exactly know whats going to happen. If your husband is going to be able to join you or not. Once you win your case and judge gives a decision in favor your husband's application - you should consult with your lawyer to file a another law suit of financial damages against IRCC - for all the time and delays IRCC kept this family apart, for all the expenses in flying over and meeting (if you went to see your husband) and any other financial impact you can think of which the family had to go through.

Unless IRCC is made financially liable for the damages it causes to other individuals - be it Canadian Citizens or Not - it is liable to them the moment it gobbles up their immigration fees and promotes their FALSE PROCESSING TIMELINES.

Hi Mohs@ck.
Thank you for sharing your experience here. I have the same situation too. I've never served in the military. In my case, I was studying in university when I left the country.
However, I don't really know what I should write in my explanation document.
Is there any chance you can share your letter with me to get some inspiration?
I have to submit it in 2 days.
Feel free to email or message me anytime.

Hi. My husband was asked to fill up the same IMM form last year in October. After 1 year and 20 days IRCC has given him another form attached to the email to be filled up and submitted by 15 days. This new form is not an IMM form, rather it was attached to the email. IRCC never asked for a certified IMM 5546 form. Thanks. May I know your application date please?
Hi,
Did this get resolved for you? What happens after the second request? I applied for my sister and brother in law for a visitor visa. After a year, they sent the second request for the military details exactly similar to yours.

Hi, my husband has been waiting for 2 years and 9 months now. He opted for judicial review which is also pending. Hope, your sister and her family get the visa decision soon.

Thanks for replying and sorry about your husband’s situation. Hopefully this gets resolved soon. Do you mind sharing if he put any records of arrests, detention or interrogations involvement in the second request letter? May I ask which country he served? I am considering simply withdrawing the application if they requested the same info just to drag the application another few years. They asked for biometric payments as their previous bios expired, after paying the fees again, instead of sending re biometrics instructions, they sent this request letter. What a s**t show

Hi. My husband was never arrested or got any detention in his service time. Also, most of the military applicants got the same request twice. Ircc does it with everyone. We are still waiting for the final decision. Withdrawing the application won't help as they would follow the same procedures no matter how many times you apply.

I think the question is if they arrested or interrogated others during their services. I was considering withdrawing and apply for my sister and nephews as these has been absolute dragging by IRCC

Your sister's family can withdraw the application but I don't think it would make any difference. It's up to the applicant.

No, he never arrested anyone in his life. He put the same information that he stated in the first military table.
I am in the same boat as you. my husband used to serve in military. Could you please share what did you submit for the 1st and 2nd request from IRCC? Thank you so much

Hi. My husband filled up the IMM 5546 form. 2nd time IRCC gave almost similar form that had no name as IMM...He filled up both forms with required information and uploaded in his portal. That's it.

Did you submit any certificate of military to show your husband finish his position? I think they need this kind of certificate
