A quick question about fringerprint

Hi all:

I do not submit my application yet, and I try to include the fringerprint with my application.

However, when I call an agent, they told me that the RCMP report would be sent directly to cic, therefore, they can not process the fringerprint without a cic request (or cic file number)

So, for citizenship application, I have to wait to do the fringerprint until cic asks me to. While for the PR application, I can do it even before cic asks me to.

Am I right?

Yes, wait until they ask you, which is not always the case.

I was asked to submit fingerprints. It is done only digitally with private contractors here in Ontario. These contractors need your File/Case no. to process your fingerprints and send it to the RCMP.

I will submit my application without firngerprint, and hope they do not ask me for it later.
