A piece of information and some analysis:

Today I talked with my consultant. He informed me that the procedure at VOs have changed after June'10. Now they have divided the work of VOs under different codes. i.e. from the 1st day the applicant's docs goes directly to the table for that particular code table. This saves many months timing. More ever, those codes whose demand is greater are given first preference and they are solved at highest priority.
And the occupations that are not in great demand and whose applicants are too many in number, gets the least preference because they have enough time to look at them and they cannot grant visa to each and every because of limited no. of immigrants permission. So they are checking in deep about those applicants and call them for interviews and try to cross check too.
This might seem bit discouraging and tough but there is no need to worry since most of us have legitimate docs. The only thing that will happen is MORE TIMING.
So we have to learn patience now because it could be much more frustrating then what seems right now.
Just one advice: Continue with whatever profession you are in.... There is no fix time line for this. Dont just depend on this. Some might get visa soon and some might take a lot time. It might be hurtful but truth is somewhat like this.
Sorry if hurted someone. So have LOTS OF PATIENCE. Nobody knows when will our turn come.

Note: The above views are just my analysis and so can't be fully rely on.

Hello Everybody,
In this so called tough time, we need to maintain ourselves and especially our thoughts and not to get carried away by the pessimism.
Now this is getting really interesting.
Optimism Vs Pessimism.
Nobody knows whats happening at VOs. Everybody here on this forum are doing guessing work and expecting things to be on their side.
Playing positively in such time is really important because this will make us strong and effective even for future situations.
Many of us here dont know how will they live after going to canada. What's there for us in canada??? No Idea...
So everything from the climate to the career will be new for us. This brainstorming and fighting bravely against unseen situation will provide us internal strength.
Thank you god for allowing us for this net practice before going for much tougher situation ahead.
So friends this is our exam. And I want all of us to perform their best.
Its a tough match but the tougher and the toughest lie ahead in canada.
So its Me Vs My Situation.....
And the winner is ...................
Reply me with your answers.
MY ANSWER IS MEEEEEE.
I dont quit... Never.
And U?

Hi Devu,
Very happy to see those smiley emotions from you.
I hope you are bit relaxed now.
And I don't know about medicals next week but I expect that our ecas shall change and when we click on the IN PROCESS then we will find the new line "we started processing your file on .....".
And that could be the sign of Medicals coming soon.
Be blessed.
Have a nice weekend.

Spending a beautiful evening with your loved ones is a wishful dream. After landing to the cold country who knows when will we be able to see this scenery and beautiful sunset again with our loved ones. So talk as much as one can with hands in hands. Because be prepared for a tough life ahead in the cold country.
Initially it won't be the smooth ride. Lots of bumpy road ahead.
Have a beautiful evening.
