So on the basics of this mail, i am still waiting bearing in mind that they have not officially ask for the docs listed in my caips notes. Anyway most of the docs were in my file.

So Fariza when do you think i can ordered next caips , since my last BF'D was 22.1.2011.

I understand your situation.... Nothing to do but to wait till they become ready with your file to ask for additional docs...
Sometimes Caips only reveals another BF'D (sometimes the BF'D frequency depends and varied between case type and CHC) or even nothing (as sometime dates are arbitrarily given and not always work rightly for... it mostly happens for backlog cases) but anyways you might consider to wait for a months or so to order for the next one.... Our prayers are always with you

Now the main thing which sucks a lot is the word WAIT.
But again we have to be positive here and have to wait... because there is no other substitute to it...
So if we have to wait only then why don't we enjoy while waiting?

Ok thanks very much. I will probably do that at the end of June which will be the start of the third quarter , if i do not hear anything from them. But it is really strange. I have been waiting for 19 months after 2nd AOR. With no communication. At least if they let you know what is happening, i think it will be fine. They just stay silent. They are really making a big mistake. If it was a free application and you have to pay for when they start processing the situation will be different. They have our money and that is the reason they are just quiet.

Fariza, i have a question to ask, if i withdraw my application at this stage will they refund my money?
I am tired of waiting and my future plans can not be put in jeopardy because of s stupid immigration system or those who work base on lies and not being since in their time lines.

So far I know application before the processing commences (Visa office eligibility/Paper based selection for 67 points completed) are only illegible to get refund. Have you got your file status to be "In process" If yes then probably its too late for you.

Whether or not to withdrawal is a very sensitive advise to make.... I can feel the pain of waiting which many of us are all having in some form.....Its hard to hang on with uncertainty at the same time staying away from hope is also difficult that things can change anytime... we all live on hope... we get ready to accept all pain for the sake of better time.....but at the end of the day its exclusively own life and own decision to make.... Today it was very disheartening to know one of our forum friend received a response from London CHC in which VO openly clarifies the processing for MI-2 and c-50 could take 2 years (keeping on hold) !!! and they are only working with MI-1 (post June 2010).... One of applicant under Sydney CHC also received similar response and in which VO also indirectly encouraged that if anybody don't like to wait that long they can easily withdraw....

But the problem is nothing came as official... If CIC could release a common strategy officially with possible revised time line then I think there are many don't like to hang around for indefinite period of time.... This is going to be very hopeless transition period for many and we need to get rid of this asap...
I wish I have any better advise for you to support but I am also in the same boat.... at least we got this forum to express ourselves and get some relief of our mental distress..... May God help us to get along...

The point here is that, your BF'D was on Jan 1,2011. As the Abidjan VO is closed since Dec 8,2010,I have a feeling they may not have looked into ur file on this BFD and their webpage ends with this statement

Unfortunately, all applicants can expect additional delays in processing due to our reduced ability to deliver services in Abidjan. Further updates to these instructions will be posted, depending upon the prevailing situation in Abidjan.

About the withdrawing part,I would say NO.We understand your frustration friend.Yesterday,one of our forum member Deeaar got his visa after 42 months.Deeaar had applied in Sept 2007.Wish we get sooner.
As u have said,u can go for CAIPS by end of june 2011.I hope soon things will get back to normal at Abidjan VO and at this moment we can only pray & lets hope for the best dear.

It is also said on the website that, for any inquiries or additional documents on existing application applicants should contact Senegal Visa office. That is where i am confused. I had sent a case specific inquiry to Senegal but received no reply, since February. I am not sure if the applications were transferred to Senegal or they are still at Abidjan.

I will wait then.

Thanks Fariza for your words of encouragement. It helps sometimes. Pearl2010 has taken office time to read t he Abidjan visa office website and he has just advised me to be a little patient and not to withdraw the application. I will just listen to him.

My e.cas has never been updated by the visa office. It still shows the same information, by the CIO till present. When i wrote to them last June 2010, the said, "your file being being processed", so i do not know, if it means the same like in process.

Well i will just hold on and see what happens.

It is confusing for sure, but i still feel after reading point 3 that they might have transferred the application, because if they did not transfer they would not have asked applicants to send additional information to Senegal. This is where i guess file has been transferred. They can not get my additional documents and keep them separate from my file, if it is still in Abidjan. Also they have said ,if you have any case specific inquiry contact Senegal visa office. The visa offices really lack communication. This is an important issue and they need to be clear about where you application is found.

Yes my dear friend, i sometimes like to listen to others advice, maybe you have been chosen to talk to me and that is why you have taken all the time to read what is happening on my behalf.

yes, some crucial information is missing from their side.At this point we are not able to figure out if they have moved the files from Abidjan to Senegal,and as I had already mentioned,if u get any additional doc request while Abidjan VO is closed,then its 100% sure that ur file is transferred to Senegal and u have to send ur additional docs to Senegal VO.
Also,dont send any docs unless u get any requests from Senegal or Abidjan VO.

Better to wait till we hear from them.hope for the best.
