Please answer my query
Sir Once our file courier reaches CIC centre in Nova Scotia what exactly happens to our file courier,
(for e.g is it like immediately upon receiving they stamp date / time etc on courier or they open the courier and then on some pages stamp something / record our details etc)
Basic procedure a file follows before reaching visa officer.

Thanks again and I really appreciate your help.
Wow, lot's of issues here but they can be surmounted. Self attested affidavit will not work, let your surviving parent attest the affidavit for you, same for your wife. Her parent should attest for her. The full and correct names for both of you should be indicated (as captured on your international passports) as well as the full and correct names of your parents. Alternatively, get birth certificates/registration of birth from your Country's National Population Commission or Census Board. Cheers.ishakmohd said:Dear Guys,
I have some concerns about the identity documents that will be submitted for me and spouse
1. My spouse's initials are not mentioned in her birth certificate, whereas her initials are mentioned in the National id (voters id) and our marriage certificate. Name is the same in all 3 documents. Will this be OK?
2. I don't have a birth certificate. Can I submit a notarized affidavit instead?
3. The spelling of my father's name, Wife's father's name and wife's mother's name are different in some of the above said documents. Will this be an issue?
In fact, my late dad's name is spelled differently in two parts of my marriage certificate :-[
Kindly help

1. can we put small sticker/tags on documents just to mention review officer what this document is about??.. for e.g documents of relative in canada, educational credentials, identity documents...etc?? No, if you need to provide an explanation for any part of your application, simply state it in a cover letter and place with the relevant form or document
2. Is it true that we can not staple documents and forms?? so it means we have to use paper clips only? We are absolutely not to use staples/staple pins. Place your forms and documents in the order specified in the Document Checklist. We were not asked to use paper clips either but you may do so if you wish

Pipis Husband said:Hi, the idea is for you to match your roles and responsibilities with those on the NOC list and not for you to state your exact roles word for word and expect CIC to accept it. The CIO officers are not subject matter experts, they work with a simple checklist. So tone down the language of your JD and try to get it to match what is on the NOC list. Even if you don't confer with clients, there are other duties on the list which you can use to show you qualify for the NOC. So rephrase your JD (without telling lies) to ensure it matches the NOC stated JDs up to 80% and you are good to go. Remember, you are trying to convince somebody who probably has no clue about your occupation that you are eligible. All the best![]()
Hi, what is stated on your reference letter should match what is on the NOC list and should match what you state on the relevant application form. If the form is not adequate, simply design an excel table on plain paper just like the form and state the rest of your duties there. Remember to put the name and code of the relevant form on top of your extra sheets with your full name. Also sign the bottom of each extra sheet. Cheers.dani_s_j said:Hi, Random question after reading this post, where should you expressly state what your job description is? Should I include this as an additional supporting document?
I think there is a section on the Economic classes form but there isn't much space for a whole job description? Thanks
