Hi,
My CC got charged on Nov 24th for me and my wife visa processing. I gave a different CC detail for my son visa processing (150 CAD) and that is not yet charged. I don't know why. I checked the CC company here and they say all are in order to receive the 150 CAD as soon as it is charged. Credit limit and card details are all verified to be right.

Has anyone experienced this before ? what does this mean ? I have not heard anything back from visa office yet. Should I wait more or should I contact them ?

Please help and advice.

Note: My son PP is expiring in Jan 2015. Would that be the reason ?

Hi, you already know that you should have used a passport that had longer validity. It's advisable to get a renewed passport for your son. Also for convinience, you should have used one credit card for the whole family. Please send an email to CIO for status of your application.

My documents were recently lodged last October 16, 2014, I would like to ask based on your professional experience regarding the time frame of their response. Will it be thru email or mail? I was not properly informed regarding the process and I am also worried that I will not reach the cap for registered nurses NOC 3012. FILE ASSIGNED TO AGENT AT CIO FOR INITIAL REVIEW.

If your draft cannot be encashed, your application will be returned however, nobody has ever reported that their draft was not encashed within 3 months of sending their application. If your application is complete, your draft will be encashed.

Next mail will be from New Delhi Visa office , based on what all have said , it may be anything between 2 to 4 months.

You may or may not receive AOR mail from your VO but what is guaranteed is a mail to go for your medicals and maybe provide updated POF and/or fresh PCC. Expect to wait between 60 to 120 days for this phase, cheers.
