Hi, I am in great trouble recently and need your help if anyone ever have similar situation.

To put it brief: My study permit renewal and my wife's open work permit were refused, because they say my CAQ is expired (Because I graduated during my waiting for renewal of SP, I thought I do not need CAQ). Before they refuse our permits, my wife fly back to homecountry and come back one month later, the border officer noticed my SP was expired, and give her a visitor record but request her to leave within one months and marked this in visitor record saying "Must surrender this document to an immigration officer upon departure from Canada".

If she didn't fly back and come again, we could both do status restoration that is no problem. However, now the situation is she went back, and when she came again, the officer request her to leave within one month. Can we still do the original status restoration for both of us, or she indeed has to leave?

I am so appreciated for who might give me an answer. Or the best way to solve this..

Thank you!!!!
