Good Day All,

Just trying to finalise my application for my Family Class Sponsorship. Just want some help clearing up some information regarding the 8 Photos.

Q1) So I saw on the PR Application via Canadian Experience Class the Photo Requirements are: Supply six (6) photos for each member of your family, whether accompanying or not, and yourself. Follow the instruction provided in the section How to Complete the Forms of the application guide and in Appendix A: Photo
Specifications . Photos must have been taken within six (6) months before application submission. On the back of five (5) of the photographs, write the name and date of birth of the person who appears in the photo as well as the date the photo was taken. Leave the sixth photograph blank

But for the Sponsorship it simple says PHOTOS Supply eight (8) recent photos for each member of your family and yourself. Follow the instructions in Appendix B: Photo Specifications. Do I as the applicant need to write the information on 7 of the 8 photos ie like above or do you leave them blank on the back of the photos?

Q2) Do you send them in as they are as one print out showing 8 photos. Mine printed out in 2 x 4 style. Or do I have to cut all 8 photos down so they are to the exact 35mm x 45mm and all 8 photos are loose?

Thanks any help is welcome.

English, Living in London, Ontario. Will be applying Outland as going back to work on Cruise Ships will application is being processed. Have listed London UK as my Visa Office after Step 1 is complete.

1) Why are you looking at Canadian Experience Class requirements when you are applying as Family Class? As per the instructions in your guide, you just need to provide the photos; if something needed to be written on them, it would be stated.

2) Cut out into individual photos. Your photographer really should have done that and made sure that they were all the proper size.

If it doesn't say to write anything on them in country specific guide, then you don't write anything on them.

If I remember correctly, we cut them out. So we sent 8 loose photos.

MilesAway & canuck_in_uk ,

Thanks for the advice. I was looking at both guides because the CIC website is very poorly designed and there is lots of contradictory information stated on the web pages that is/isn't printed in the information guides/checklists or vice versa.

Never the less I will head back to the photographer this week and get him to cut them down correctly.

Thanks Again.
