I think they are trying to control the number of applications to be processed for permanent residency. They want to maintain the 6 months or less processing time thus strategically picking the minimum points that will result into the number of ITAs that will be sent.

OMG I am 453 exactly and got ITA. When 5th draw came out I was thinking you guys were too optimistic. I thought it should take at least 2+'draws to get to 450. According to the spreadsheet, I calculated there would be 4000+ people between 450-480. Oh well I guess the spreadsheet can't reflect the actual pool then.

Congrats to all who got ITA!

Can you send the link of the webpage that first informs about the draws?

Thanks

Hello everyone

I am in a bit of an issue here.

I applied for FSW program, Application recieved on the 25th Nov, PER recieved 12th Feb, I haven't got any other updates on my ECAS since and not sure which office my application is transferred to.

Today I Got an invitation to apply for the express entry and I am not sure what to do. I know that If I apply via express entry then my FSW application will automatically be cancelled correct?

Kindly suggest what you guys think is the best move in this situtation.

Congrats to all!! It feels good.

Just wished i didn't waste money retaking my English test and my spouse didn't have to do hers at all - the tests we are yet to get the results. But again, no one knew the point will come down to this level.

Feeling happy!!!

still waiting over here... Though quite confused

question- do you still HAVE to register for job bank to be considered in the pool even if you're working in a FT job already? (No LMIA)

My fiancé score is above the cut off line but he didn't get ITA, he's cec only and he has a job, he didn't register in job bank

Job bank registration is mandatory for all applicantS without LMIA.

thanks so much for informing us, gotta wait for another month i guess

If you don't have a job supported by an LMIA, you may never get selected except you register with Jobbank and have enough point. So don't wait, register with jobbank if you have not done so.
