Hello,

Hope y'all are doing well.

I'm writing this on behalf of my brother who is currently in India. I'm a permanent resident of Canada and wish to bring my brother to Canada. So, we have decided to apply for study visa.

After completing his schooling in 2011, he did 3 years of bachelors degree in Material Management (scored 74% and no backlog). He graduated in the year 2014 and since then he's working full time. He has also created EE profile and looking at the current EE draws, the chances of getting an invitation are slim (CRS Score 365. Reappearing for IELTS to improve the score). Not sure, how long we will have to wait for PNP from any of the province.

Is he eligible to apply for study visa for Sep 2020 intake?

How likely the visa will get approved?

He's also having valid visitor visa and did visited me in the year 2018.

Will greatly appreciate everybody's input to this thread.

What is his current IELTS score, which course is planning for, is the course relevant to current qualifications or work experience? How will attending college help career prospects in home country and how convincing can he be that will leave Canada, property, home ties and so on.

Having a brother or relative in Canada can sometimes be a negative when applying for temporary entry so having a solid convincing case about purpose is key.

IELTS: Overall 6.5, no less than 6 in each module.

Course: Supply Chain Management. Course is relevant to his bachelors degree and work experience. No subject will be repeated again (except 1 or 2, not sure tho).

Prospect: Will learn new skills and attain some certifications which are recognized globally. E-commerce and logistics are emerging industries in India. We believe it will surely help him bump his career in India. We have a house and his name is listed on papers along with my parents. He worked with and currently working with leading e-commerce company, so getting a managerial position won’t be a problem after returning home. We will mention this in SOP, hope it works.

We are planning to apply under SDP program by paying 1 year tuition fees and GIC in advance. Less documentation required.

Will greatly appreciate your suggestions and tips.
