Up to when is your WP? Health care card? I think you are entitled to maternity benefits. Hopefully you have somewhere to stay when you have your baby.

u are entitled for a maternity benefits but u cant work fulltime...if u choose to work/continue working then cant have a maternity leave.its up to u but u cant have those two(maternity leave while working fulltime)what option u want.if ur going to have a maternity leave do u think they can wait for u for sure theyre going to find somebody else while ur on leave.if u want to apply for
maternity benefits u may do so 8weeks before ur due date.just went to service canada last wed and they advice me to come 8weeks before mu due date...

It's better to renew your Work PErmit and extend your contract. Because if your work permit will expire that means your health care benefits will expires too. Maternity expenses are so expensive so to make it sure you won't pay for your delivery and check-up costs in the hospitals you should have a valid healthcare card. If your boyfriend won't allow you to work then ask him if he can pay your delivery expenses. Good luck and have a safe pregnancy!
